What is the difference between rhinestones and diamonds?
1.The hardness of diamonds is obviously greater than that of rhinestones, so the diamonds are very bright after being wiped, and it is difficult to see the abrasion. The faceted edges of diamonds must be sharp, and the faceted edges of glass are smooth.
2. The fire color is different. The fire color of the diamond comes from the inside of the diamond, and because of the surface coating of many rhinestones, the color is just a kind of film interference, only floating on the surface. In addition, the high-lead glass has higher dispersion, and the fire color is stronger than diamond, which will not look so natural.
3. There are 57-58 facets in diamond cuts, and many new cuts have only a lot more facets, and the cut face of rhinestones is obviously less than that of diamonds.
4. The refractive index of diamonds is significantly higher than that of rhinestones, and the gloss must be better than rhinestones.
